Choosing Wisely Talks & Diving into Overuse in Hospitals Campaign Launch

Choosing Wisely Talks

The Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) is working closely with organizations and provinces in Canada to improve patient care through quality improvement, taking us from ‘the land of pilot projects’ to the land of spread and scale.

Join Choosing Wisely Canada (CWC) on February 7th at 12 p.m. EST for February's Choosing Wisely Talks on Facilitating the Spread of Healthcare Improvement: Experiences from the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) & Provincial Partner Organizations.

CWC will be joined by CFHI to learn how they support health care organizations adapt, implement, spread, and measure improvements. Using CFHI’s Appropriate Use of Antipsychotics (AUA) collaborative and the Optimizing Practices Use, Care and Services – Antipsychotics (OPUS-AP) collaborative as examples, you’ll hear firsthand from organizations in New Brunswick and Quebec that have partnered with CFHI to reduce the inappropriate use of antipsychotics in long-term care homes.

February's Choosing Wisely Talks webinar will be simultaneously translated and offered in French. Further details are available on the French page for this webinar.
