Choosing Wisely Talks

Nurses represent 48% of all health care professionals in Canada and play a major role as leaders and advocates in reducing overuse of unnecessary tests and treatments. 

Join Choosing Wisely Canada on Thursday, March 7 at 12 p.m. EST for Choosing Wisely Talks: Nurses’ Valuable Role in Developing and Implementing Choosing Wisely Canada Recommendations


The Canadian Nurses Association will present on its partnership with Choosing Wisely Canada and the development of nurse-led recommendation lists in collaboration with nursing specialties. You will also gain insight from nurses who have put Choosing Wisely recommendations into practice locally through quality improvement initiatives, such as reducing repetitive blood draws in the ICU.


Be sure to add March's Choosing Wisely Talks to your calendar, and to block off the first Thursday of every month from 12 - 1 p.m. EST.
